Editorial Policy
Content is checked against the site's editorial standards before publishing. Mechanism, dosage, and safety claims should cite primary sources from PubMed, Cochrane, NPRA, or JAKIM where available. This check is not clinical, pharmacy, regulatory, or halal-certification review.
What we won't do: accept payment for favourable coverage, omit safety caveats to support a sale, cite forums or AI summaries, or publish translation-only MS content.
What we will do: disclose affiliate relationships, keep correction standards visible, refresh dosage and safety articles when new evidence emerges, and avoid treating NPRA, JAKIM, FDA, price, stock, or Shopee details as current until manual checks are recorded.
Our 4-step review process
Every article anchored as medical in our content collection passes through this editorial verification chain before it goes live, and again at every six-month revisit:
- Citation check. Every dosage, mechanism, or safety claim must trace back to a PubMed-indexed primary source, an NPRA bulletin, an MOH/CPG guideline, or a JAKIM certificate database entry. Forum posts, blog summaries, and AI outputs are never primary sources.
- Claim verification. Where possible we cross-check claims against at least two independent peer-reviewed sources. Single-study claims are flagged in-text as "preliminary" and escalated to the next review cycle for re-verification.
- Bahasa Baku register check. Malay translations are reviewed for register compliance: semi-formal Bahasa Baku, "anda" pronoun, no rojak (mixed-language slang), magazine-feature tone - never machine-translation output.
- Halal + NPRA fact-check. Halal claims cross-checked against halal.gov.my; NPRA MAL numbers verified on quest3plus.bpfk.gov.my; JAKIM certificate IDs validated where stated.
Every in-depth guide carries a review date and a next-review target. Pages that need licensed clinical review should say so rather than implying that editorial review is the same thing. Significant claims are re-checked against current sources on a schedule, and corrections are logged openly on the affected page.
